About the Event
Open to beginners (and those with experience)! We will be backpacking less than 3 miles up to Lower Moro Campground in Crystal Cove State Park, with gorgeous ocean views along the way. Total cost is $30.
For beginners:
This is a perfect introductory backpacking trip - if you’ve been wanting to give it a try, sign up! There is some elevation gain, which will be more difficult due to the packs - but there is no rush, we will be soaking in the beautiful views of the ocean along the way. Concerning gear, we will be providing detailed information beforehand.

This price is the minimum we can charge to cover costs. For activities, this is the price we are paying for the event. For campouts, we cover costs such as food, campsite, and transportation fees for each participant. AFL has a No Refunds policy described here. If finances would prevent you from attending this activity or campout, please refer to the AFL Assistance Fund information at the bottom of the Events Page, we would love to help out.
